The Kampala capital city festival

Each year, thousands of people of all sorts both local and regional come to make this event colorful and come October 5th to 7th, all roads lead to Kampala road. The Kampala Capital City Festival is one of the biggest events of a kind in East Africa and this year’s event marks its 7th year and will be conducted under the theme the seven years of transforming the city. This event comes with lots of amazing things, food, wines, beers, music, children’s games a mention but a few. This event never leaves anyone stranded or without anything to enjoy. The Nyege Nyege International Music Festival

This event has for the past 3 years been popular as the Nyege Nyege International Music Festival but interestingly, it has been remixed especially for the 2018 as MTN Nyege Nyege after the partnering with MTN Uganda. This event began in 2015 and since then, thousands of fans have been flocking to the source of River Nile to experience different music performances ranging from hip-hop, dance, afro beat, RnB and many more. Musicians across the world will be part of this tremendous event right from DR Congo, Zimbabwe, Kenya, UK, US, Belgium, Tanzania, Zambia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and many more. This event is scheduled to take place between 6th and 9th September at the shores of the mighty source of the River Nile in Jinja.

Milege World Music Festival

This event is one of a kind. It is one of the few most unique ones and offers you opportunity to immense into the stunning setting of the expansive Entebbe Botanical Gardens. This year’s event will take place in November and it has existed for about 6 years. It is a non-profit initiative that aims at promoting and growing the appreciation of cultural music in the pearl of Africa. Different music performers are attracted across the globe.

Bayimba International Music Festival

In most cases, this event is popularly called the Bayimba Festival and it is an annual event of music and culture of Uganda. For the past years, this festival has kept on growing and this year’s celebrations were conducted at the National Theatre in Kampala. The 2018 Bayimba Festival was scheduled to take place between 2nd and 5th August.

Blankets and Wine festival

This remarkable event is East Africa’s leading music experience mainly intends to recognize African music. It is always conducted on 27th September each year in Kampala museum. Come with a bottle of wine and celebrate the African music.
