UK ’s Ngoma radio asked its listeners in Europe to call in and vote for their best and worst songs of the year. Their response was more than overwhelming as they practically jammed the phone lines on the Dj Elly K and Medi Nsereko show.
After all the votes were tallied last Saturday, Europe voted Jose Chameleone as the artiste of the year 2010, Samali Matovu as the best famale new comer, Mc Moseh as the best male new comer and Eddy Kenzo’s Stamina as the best song of the year 2010.
This is the second year in a row Chameleone has won this award. Our paps who spoke to Elly K after announcing the awards live on his show were informed that Chameleone deserved the top award especially after his collaborations with international stars like Kelly Rowland and Bennie-man. ‘And his songs are always clean and have a lot of meaning for the average person.’ Ery added. However, ugandans living in Europe felt that Uganja president’s Mr Katala was very vulgar and immature and voted it worst song for 2010.
