Kevina Kazibwe being a daughter to a once all powerful woman in the country, one wouldn’t expect former vice president of Uganda Specioza Wandera Kazibwe’s daughter to be feuding with Hotel Africana’s boss Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige.
The two got disagreement when the tycoon refused to pay the Shs 5m she had asked for as monthly pay as the manager of the bar. We hear it started when BMK hired this girl to run the bar in the hotel with a pay of Shs 3m but when she realized that she had surpassed the projected numbers, she asked for a raise.
The tycoon tried the hedging tactic by telling her to give him time. Instead the tycoon got another person to run the bar and asked her to quit if she couldn’t work for the Shs 3m. Now Kevina is planning to sue the hotel boss for the breach of contract and agreement. We hear Kevina is so mad that whenever she recalls how hard she has worked for BMK only to be betrayed.
A source at the hotel intimated to us that Kevina had been hired as a chef but sometimes she would be forced to wash plates and dishes. But an insider revealed to us that Kevina had a passion for food and would sometimes over eat which was the reason she badly wanted to join the hotel. According to her former roommate at Africa Hall at Makerere University Kevina loved food so much that after completion of her bachelor’s degree, she ended up enrolling for diploma course in catering which explains her passion for food.
